There are two main business philosophies on which Akana works, the complete transparency between the seller and buyer about the prices and business terms and keeping the buyers and sellers informed on a daily basis the progress of business discussion.

It has often been observed that the sellers and buyers don’t keep each other updated about the progress of business conclusion which makes the sellers and buyer go through sleepless nights. The other common phenomenon noticed in pharma business is lack of transparency about the prices and business terms between the buyers and sellers. This is more pronounced when there is an intermediary involved who often thrives on making the entire business deal/transaction completely opaque; as a result the buyer does not know the actual price of the seller and the seller does not know the actual prices at which the buyer has purchased.
